CLN Welcomes 2020-21 Board Members

The Connecticut League for Nursing (CLN) attracts Board Members whose expertise and skills contribute to the ongoing success and sustainability of the League's mission:  To promote excellence in nursing education to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce to advance the nation's health.
​
The Role of the CLN board is to provide strategic thinking and direction to the organization in the following priority areas:
  • Strengthen relationships and partnerships between academia and practice to support innovative strategies in education to foster the successful transition and retention of new nurses to all practice settings; and
  • Monitor and Assess the overall statewide capacity of nursing schools/programs at all education levels to align nursing graduates with projected employment demands from Connecticut healthcare providers to ensure that safe, quality and culturally sensitive care is accessible to meet the healthcare needs of our diverse Connecticut population.
