Speakers
Jillian Zupan, MSN, RNJillian Zupan MSN, RN is currently is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Three Rivers Community College. She is an active member of the Connecticut League for Nursing (CLN) Program Committee and a successful online Faculty for two of CLN’s national courses: The RN Refresher Course and Clinical Faculty Preparation Course. Her expertise extends into the med/surg and emergency care areas as she worked for 9 years in the Emergency Department at Middlesex Hospital.

Carrie Michalski, JD, MSN, RN, CNECarrie Michalski, JD, MSN, RN, CNE is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Southern Connecticut State University. Since 2002, Carrie has been teaching at the BSN level across the nursing curriculum in lecture, labs, simulation, and clinical. Her Masters in Nursing Education and credentials as a Certified Nurse Educator informs her research interests in the scholarship of teaching and learning. In particular, to incorporate collaborative activities, as well as infusing technology, skills competency and simulation into the academic experience for improved student outcomes. Carrie strives to understand and enhance the student experience and assist in the student's transition to professional practice.
